iPod app cuts of text

Recently uploaded a lot of classical music on the iPad and was quickly stumped by the iPod apps inability to scroll long text, like it used to on the normal iPods. Is this feature really not included?
Is there any way of getting the text to scroll, or at least another app which will allow me to see what music I am playing?

Don't know about the music thing, but I got an advice to you.
There is no need to actually photograph the iPad screen.
Just hold the home key and push the side bottom of screen shut down.
It will take a snap shot of you current screen, and store it in the main photo folder

It seems kind of a silly way of doing it, but if you double tap on the home button and swipe left to right for the iPod multitasking controls you'll see a somewhat longer name for the current song.
