Ipod 3g with camera???

I have an ipod.... And i saw my friend had one also.... I asked him what generation it was... And he said it was 4g.... I told him my was 3g.... He said it wasnt because it had a camera... And i looked up on the internet for any source for a 3g with a camera... And none had a camera... So i looked at my udid and it said it was 3g with iphone system.... I got my ipod before the 4g came out.... And it was ios 4.0.1 ....

iPods don't have 3g or 4g. The iPod Touch has wifi, but they don't have 3g or 4g. iPhones don't have 4g either. Do you mean an iPad?

To be honest, I'm not sure he knows what he is talking about. iOS 4.0.1 was only on the iPhone, there is no such thing as an iPhone 4G. Maybe he has an iPhone 3G, which does have a camera??
