ipad2 screen problem - shows for split second?

Hi All
I just turned on my ipad today to find when i turn on there is no logo, then after a min when i press the power button or home it shows the lock screen and clock for a slpit second then black again.
Ive tried the power / home reset and still the same.
Anyone know of this problem or how to fix. The lcd isnt smashed neither is the screen.

I think you should have a diagnostic run of your iPad at the Genius Bar of your nearest Apple store.

Make sure the iPad is charged. If you're not certain about it, plug it in.

Try to restore it using iTunes. If this doesn't help, you'll need to take it to the next Apple store, as abababababab suggested.
