Ipad2 can't restore after iTunes updated

I recently synced my iPad and pc, during which, iTunes upgraded to the latest version (10.5) I believe. At some point, I was prompted to restore my iPad. It goes through the process, then goes right back to the scree telling me that I need to restore again. (the 'set up your iPad' screen).

Ay ideas?
