Ipad usage history

I accidentally left my Ipad at an acquaintance home for 24 hours. It was unprotected, so he could have gone through my emails that contain some sensitive material.

Is there any way I can discover whether he viewed my emails?

I use the google email app on my Iphone.

Too late for this past incident, but if you had set up the "Find my Phone" facility you could have gone on line and set it to "Lost Mode" as soon as you realised you had left it there to stop anyone accessing it.
