Ipad restore. Do the apps come back into the folders

I seem to remember a tutorial on here on how to bring back your app folders automatically after you have restored your iPad from a back up. (i think)
The last time I did it I had to manually create all my folders again.
If any one can send me the link it would be appreciated. I have tried searching but to no avail.

IIRC, you have to have the apps synced over onto iTunes with the layout that you want. Then backup the device. Restore the device, and restore the backup and sync over your apps from iTunes and the layout should be the exact same layout that it appeared in the Apps portion of your iTunes library prior to the restore
