iPad Remote App.

I downloaded ipad Remote. I thought it was a free app. My credit card got charged. So was it ever free or is there a flat download fee of some sort. I'm very new to iTunes and such. TIA for any help.

The app R2 iPad Remote is free. Is this your first app purchase and did you just set up your iTunes account? If so, when you first set up the account, Apple charges your account $1 and then immediately re-credits your card with that $1. They do this to check the validity of the credit card associated with the iTunes account.

Yes this was my first purchase. I plan on using my "Apple" credit card in the future. Didn't have all info to use it on this occasion. Do you know if another $1 will be charged to switch cards? Thanks.
