Hi all. Can anyone advise a smart case please?

I am in the uk, reading the apple site are the apple ones that bad?

Currently got one from amazon uk that's going back......

Hey,

I have the Smart Cover from apple, and it fits like a glove looks amazing and gives it a nice book like feel and grip when using the device. Take things with a grain of salt that people review, everyone's needs and expectations are different. Get what makes you happy as it is your money; I may get a clear snap on for the back to avoid scratching the aluminum, but for now it's naked and sexy as ever!!! Let me know what you decide.

I don't know about the Mini Smart Case, but many on here are using the Smart Case for their full sized iPad and liking them. There was a thread a few months ago when they came out and it sounded like a good case. I would have one but already had Smart Cover and a different back (different story there).

I got a GREAT case from Brookstone.com! The iPad slides inside and the cover protects the screen.
Yes, it is over priced like every thing else is but I got one anyway. It comes in 3 colors, black, purple and blue that looks like teal to me. The blue is what I got. It is more secure when held and -better protected now.
The Smart Cover from Apple has some bad reviews so decided to go to Brookstone.

The mini Smart Cover has come with a different hinge to the full size ipad.

I got a replica one and the hinge had started to come apart

Until I went to apple I didn't realise they changed the hinge.

Navitech makes terrible cheap stuff. I wish I could have warned you off them.

What about another kind of case from another company? There are some light weight cases that are similar to the smart case (not Smart Cover) they are folio cases. Like this one:

I bought a back cover from someone else which is brill. So I am stuck what to do about the case

In Paris currently and I am unsure if I buy one here and I have an issue will I be able to sort it in the uk. They are cheap here

In the States, I got the Moko from Amazon for $7 it's fine, I have a Zum and a Apple smart cover on an Ipad 2 and love that. I have a custom photo cover on my Iphone 5 from Gelaskins.com, thinking of getting a plain black for the back and a screen protector for Mini now.

Apple smart cover is ok..i got one but to protect the back,i bought capdase backcover. They both fit like a glove and im happy with the combination

Where was the Portenzo Hard Back ordered from? I haven't heard of this cover type and curios what it looks like.

Portenzo cases can be ordered directly from portenzo.com. They are custom made and allow a lot of selections. The hard back is the smallest form factor and does not add too much weight and size to the mini

Thank you for the info on the Portenzo case. The Brookstone.com case is a little different.
