I have tried to attach documents and it looks like there is no way. I ask kindly for some help.

To attach and e-mail files on an iPad, you've got to think in reverse from "normal" computer behavior. Instead of attaching something to an e-mail, you've got to be at the attachment and create an e-mail with it.

Most apps have an e-mail function. So, you can e-mail from iBooks, Pages, Goodreader, etc. You have that app (and the particular file you want to mail) open. Find/use the mail icon/button. A pop-up will appear for you to add in the e-mail details and then you press Send.

Again, it's essentially the reverse of how things are done with a computer and it's part of Apple's protective sandbox feature, in that no app can really go digging into another.

Hope this clarifies.
