iPad global search

Peace & good day,

Understandingly iPad global search would be important.

Let's say we have dozens or many more docs, texts, pics etc. on the iPad.

What I've heard from the kind iFiles developer, is that "every normal iPhone/iPad application is restricted to its own storage, this is an iOS restrictions. App can only access photo, contacts, calendar data using programming API, but direct access to see all files is not possible."

Now how do I find a file, if I don't remember which app has stored it?

I was about to move this thread, but it tells me, you can't move it into a thread it already is in.

Anyway, there is no global search. It is not possible to search for files through third-party apps, so you will have to go through each one and see, where the file is saved.
