Unfortunately no dice, not yet. Only blackberry does this type function and does it well.

Best you can do for now is put a forwarding agent on the original account that pushes priority emails to a second account configured to the iPad.

Sure,

If your email account supports rules you would create these rules on your primary email account. Rules that for example take action when an email is received by sender x where x is the name you supply, or where subject contains emergency or something of that nature.

I can help you create them but need to know if you mail provider supports them. Without giving me your email address who is the provider...example yahoo, gmail, comcast, employer provided, etc.?
