Apple announced that with the release of iPad2 they supported video phone calls and regular land line phone calls.
I tried my Yahoo Messenger Phone Out functionality and it doesn't work with the iPad! With or without video, all phone calls to a landline do not work. On my laptop the account works and all calls are successful (land line or PC).
I don't need video but since I travel the globe, Yahoo Messenger Phone Out has been essential. I now signed up for a Skype account which works on the iPad as well as my PC.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I did see some info where a premium Apple account was needed to do this. Anyone else?Thsnks.
