ipad booting problem

Hello,
I have userd Erase all Data & settings to format my ipad. now when I start it I get the apple logo on a black background and it stays like this?

did I erase the OS?
How to fix this problem?

It will stay like that until you hook it up to your computer and start iTunes and restore it.

I don't have a restore point, and itunes is not detecting it.
Is their any generic restore procedure?

Just let it sit....occasionally iDevices will hang on the apple logo for upwards of an hour...this just happened to my iPad a couple days ago....it just sat there and I just left it, it eventually came back.

My iPad Touch did this a few weeks ago.

It has been more than a day on hangup mode, just showing the apple logo and not booting ...... Can anyone help please

I also had problems like this and the apple logo appeared since yesterday. I tried to connect my ipad to iTunes by pressing the home and on / off button until the sync logo appears and start restoring my ipad to 3.2.2 version but the process suddenly stop at 70% in working...i have restore it again and again but not succeed...please help...

Short of rebooting your computer and restarting iTunes, I am out of suggestions.

I have the same problem when I do reset all data on my jailbreak iPad. I did restore from iTunes. Before connect to iTunes you need to enter into Hard mode by press and hold power and central button. The screen will display apple logo and disappear again. Context your iPad to iTunes and the iTunes will ask for restore.
Like Gentlefurry said sometimes your iPad will hand on the apple logo for a long time. You cannot restart. But when you connect to iTunes later, it will restart.

My iPad will stuck every time I turn off and restart. I need to connect to iTunes to restart it. I think I have delete it's booting files maybe. Has anyone here has the same problem with Jailbreak iPad (I jailbreak through Jailbreakme.com mine version 3.2.1)
