iPad Air Going into Do Not Disturb mode by itself

My relatively new iPad Air 11” will occasionally go into Do Not Disturb mode by itself. I have troubleshooted it more than once, and it now happens less often, but it still happens. It appears to be a random times. I can discern no pattern. There is nothing in Focus under settings that would do this, and I have no automations set up. Yet still it does it. I have completely shut down the iPad, even reset it once, to no avail. Any ideas or suggestions? I am running iOS 18.5. iOS updates have not made any difference, either.

Of note, my iPhone used to do the same thing, but it stopped once I unlinked it from my iPad.

Thanks for any help.

Have you by any chance got Focus in your Control Centre and are you accidentally tapping it when going to another option? it is very easily done. it could turn on Do Not Disturb.

I have nothing set up in Focus. Microsoft could delete that feature entirely and I would not miss it. There is no schedule for Do Not Disturb in the Focus settings, nor are there any filters, whatever they are. I also do not use Shortcuts, as I find they take more effort than simply doing manually what the shortcut would do. I looked there, and the ones that are already set up (by the iOS, I presume) don't affect Do Not Disturb. Under Automations, it reads "No Automations." As far as accidentally triggering Do Not Disturb, I don't see how that is possible, because it doesn't do it while I am using it. I'll pick it up, turn it on, and find it's in Do No Disturb mode. These are all good suggestions, but I do not think any of them provide me an answer. Thanks for trying. Any other ideas?

Go to ‘Settings > Focus’ on all your devices and make sure that ‘Share Across Devices’ is not selected and see if it then stops.
