Is there a way to see all the open apps....."windows".... without using the five finger squeeze routine??

You can swipe up with one finger from the bottom of the screen to show open windows.

Thanks....but all swiping up from the bottom seems to do is show the usual 4 icons.
Settings, email and those two others.

Maybe you only had those four Apps open?

Start with your finger or thumb at the bottom edge of the screen and move it up about an inch, then lift the finger or thumb from the screen. You should now see all the open apps that have not been force closed. Use a finger to scroll to the right to see all the open apps.
