iPad 7 no touch response

New Apple user here. I recently purchased a used iPad 7 with 32GB which has an issue with touch response, there is none. At all. I knew this when I purchased it but figured I could just replace the digitizer and be all set. Replaced digitizer and no change, updated software, no change, restored to factory presets, no change. What's left? The mother board? I need some help!!!

Could you take it to an Apple store ? They would maybe at least diagnose the problem.

Is the connector on the logic board damaged in any way?

Thanks, no I can't, I've already opened it up, so Apple won't touch it

Not that I'm aware of. I did pull it apart on Friday morning, and reassemble to verify for myself that I had correctly assembled before, when I changed the digitizer initially.
