Hi,
I am encountering an issue with my iPad where it will display the apple logo for around 10 seconds or so then return to normal.
It seems to happen more often if there are:
> Multiple apps open in memory and you double click the home button to switch between them
> Multiple web tabs (5+) and you try and open something in a new window or view a video etc from a link.
Note this is not a 'my iPad freezes' issue which is all I seem to find on searches. The iPad itself powers on fine, charges fine, and connects to iTunes/syncs fine. The logo will disappear after leaving it for circa 10 seconds or so and then pressing the home button, where it is then back to normal without loosing any data etc.
The only other issue I've had with it is capacity and large 'other' data shown on iTunes. However I've still got 1.4gb reported free from the 16gb allocation so I don't think a lack of available space is causing the issues.
If it were a PC I'd say it was something like a swap file issue and it's running out available temporary resources.
I have tried (in order to reduce the 'other' data size) resetting/rebooting the iPad and restoring from iTunes. This reduces the 'other' data very slightly but has had no effect on the 'iPad logo' error.
Is it just wearing out due to overuse?! ;-)
Thanks,
Richy.
