ipad 2 newbie

I am new to the iPad, but not to Apple, as I have my second iPhone, the 4S. I really love the iPhone, and am excited about having an iPad, and about finding this forum! Looks like there are many Apple savvy people on here, so this will be my number one resource. I ordered an iPad2 on Black Friday, after much pondering over my choice. Would've gone with the 3, but buying new chargers due to the lightning connection was not appealing nor affordable to me. My next product will be one of the MacBooks, hopefully the Air will decrease in price soon as competitors are coming out with some sleek ultrabooks, Apple will come up with something better to outdo them again!

The iPad 3 has the 30 pin connector common to all Apple iDevices with the exception of the iPhone 5, the iPad 4 and the iPad mini.
