Hey guys,

so, I got this problem with my iPad 2, I hope someone of you can help me with..

My iPad is stuck in a continuous loop, as shown in this video, which can be found on YouTube: bJe03htYonk

I tried the following:

Getting the iPad in DFU mode - for some reason, I can't get it to, tried it with stopwatch and everything, no luck.. I suspect maybe the home button is broken..?

Getting into DFU mode via the no-buttons method - After typing run and c:/dfu/dfu iBSS.m68ap.RELEASE.dfu it just opens the folder..

Getting into recovery mode through TinyUmbrella - As it won't connect over USB (multiple ports tried) TU doesn't see the iPad, neither does iTunes for that matter..

I would like to get the iPad recovered so I can use it again, anyone ever seen this before and know how to fix it?

Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for the welcome skimonkey =)

I tried the search, and I've gone through multiple pages of google search results as well..
Problem is, it's all just not quite the same problem as I have, although I have tried the fixes they proposed..

Coming here is kinda my last resort, so I'll wait patiently untill (hopefully) the answers will come flowing in.. ;)

Okay, so I got the iPad of the loop, so that's good..

Had to get the screen of it, my suspicion was right, the home button wasn't working very well...
I got it into DFU mode after getting the screen of it, but now I have a new problem..

When trying to update it, the progress bar gets stuck at about 60%, while iTunes is updating the firmware..
Get's stuck there for a while, and then reboots to recovery mode..

I am on a Windows pc, so no Wi-Fi Sync, tried it on a macbook (which also doesn't have Wi-Fi Sync installed on it) same problem..

So, if anyone got a solution for this...........
I'll keep on trying stuff in the meanwhile..

Keep you posted..
