ipad 2 cutting out when on line.

hi, I am new to this forum.
i have an ipad 2, and i am having a problem which started today, when I get on line within seconds i am cut off. i can access my emails and send emails it happens when i go onto a webpage or facetime. has anybody else had this problem. my laptop is working fine wirelessly so must be a problem with the ipad ! thanks

First thing I would try is to reboot your router. Leave it turned off for about 10 minutes, the see how things look.

It could also be worth taking your iPad to a wifi hotspot and see if you get the same problem. Starbucks is a good place to aim for, and at least if your iPad doesn't work, you get a decent coffee while we are figuring out the next move.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Along with Kevin's good advice, I think it would be a good idea to close these apps completely and then relaunch them. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly
