Hi ...

I would like to ask if all of you have a similar probelm like my friend and what is the solution ...

I just bought VGA Adapter (for presentation with LCD projector). It works well with my iPad 2. But when my friend borrowed it and plug it with his iPad 1, it can not work, and in the display say computer no input.

Please help my friend. Thank you....

The VGA adaptor on the iPad1 only works in certain apps - such as Keynote - not all the time.

iPad is a good tool in powerpoint presentation. Aside from it's being portable, browsing images is amazing in iPad. I hope your problem would be resolved soon.

He doesn't want to jailbreak his ipad 1. Do you know what app should he buy from the app store to solve this problem ?

Thanks ...

That's the only way to do it as far as I know. I have an iPad 2 so it works out of the box like the app, so I never had to try and figure it out.

Tim,

Just now i borrowed my friend's iPad 1. He has a keynote application inside. But when I tried to connect it, there's still no display.

I read the packaging and it says : compatible with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, and iPod Touch (4th generation). Mirroring supported by iPad 2.

It's really strange ....

For sure it's supported by Keynote - I use it almost every day.

Can you get the VGA adaptor to work on that iPad in any app at all?

Quick question... Are you using the HDMI adapter that came out recently, or is it an actual vga plug (like the one for computer monitors)?
