iOS5 bug? Can't swipe to close folder.

After updating to iOS5, I can't close an open folder by swiping down. I have to press the home button. Is this normal?

If you have the ipad1 I don't think the gestures are an option unless you jailbreak. I might be wrong though.

iPad 2. It also stopped working on my iPhone 4 after updating.

Again, I have an iPad 2. This is not a multitouch gesture. This is simply swiping to close a folder. I lost the ability to do it on my iPhone as well. It is annoying!
