OK I am going to run a few tests to get my ipads wifi speeds while on 3.2 and then I will upgrade the ipad to 3.2.1 and run the same tests to compare wifi speed improvements.

Also note that I was one of the lucky ones that did not suffer from wifi issues while using 3.2 so this should let us see if the update is helpful for everyone or only those suffering from wifi issues.

I'll post the results here once I'm done.

OK, what I did was download a number of speed test apps. I took three speed tests from each and kept the one with the fastest results. Then upgraded to 3.2.1 and did the same thing with the same apps.

I'll be watching this!

Mine seems faster only when the signal strength is low, otherwise the same. But my range and general reliability of the wifi connection is definitely improved.

I won't upgrade until jailbreaks is out. Maybe I won't even upgrade because of sly the bad things that are happening to everyone. I mean I have full 3G coverage in my house and I don't want to lose that. Haha

I seem to be able to go a little farther than I could before with the wifi (802.11N) since upgrading to 3.2.1.

Since the upgrade I've gotten full bars on wifi. DL speed at 14mbps which is damn close to verizon's advertised speed.

Very content here!!!!!

Its not just a placebo! Spots in my house that were marginal are very reliable now... especially in the "porcelain library" where I do my best thinking!

Wow, Mike! That is a dramatic improvement across the board.

Thanks for the great test!

My speedtest.net downloads slowed down from 28mb/sec to 25.7mb/sec. I'll see how connectivity is though, that's more important to me.

I ran a couple of tests after I upgraded too. I am getting much better download transfer rates now.

The top three results are post upgrade.
