when I turn on my ipad and go to mail , it shows that i have one message, but when i open my inbox there is no message .

If you have more than one email account on your iPad have you checked all the inboxes?

No only one email account

Remove the account and install it again. That resolves most of the problems with email accounts.

Ok, deleted the account but because it's hotmail,can't reinstall so set up new email account.
