In Canada's app store trying to get to u.s app store

I switched over to the canadian app store to get an app that was released there, and once it was released into the united states app store I would switch back. I'm at the point of switching back and I did but im still having problems. I tested it out to see if I was really in the American app store but it says that I'm in the Canadian app store and need to switch over to the u.s app store to download a certain app. That's we're im stuck and have no idea where to go from here. I'd really

In the App Store at the bottom of the Featured tab (and most other tabs) you will see either your Apple ID, or a Sign In option. Tap and sign out. Tap again and sign in with your other country iTunes account.

This only affects the App Store. Each store has it's own sign in/out options.
