What's new

It's very easy to reseat the lens without going to the trouble of going to have a tech do it for you. It will just slip back into the frame.

Here's several short video tutorials on YouTube. It honestly is dead simple.😉
It‘s a metal frame. I‘ve tried putting the lens into place, it doesn‘t seem to fit. I don‘t have a screw driver to loosen the screw, and it‘s not possible to repair my glasses without this tool, so it will be better when an optician handles this.

Also, it‘s a welcome opportunity to spend part of my day away from home. 🙂

Sounds right.

Eyeglass adjustment is often a free service. At least it with my clinic. This probably counts, and they'll probably refit too, which is often a pain to get right on your own.

That said, I usually bend and force my glasses back together myself. I lack patience. :)
Well, I'm w/ TP and others - usually just pop the lens back and tighten the screw (own tiny screwdrivers) - but my nose pads would also hardened and discolor - do I need to drive to my eye service place (also free) - WELL, a few years ago I bought the $12 kit from Amazon that had it ALL! Plenty of tiny screwdrivers, lots of screws and even nose pads (which I've exchanged on 3 pairs of glasses) - use to have much smaller kits, BUT an option if you're a DIYer - :) Dave

I‘ll get a new frame next week.
