I suppose the berries in the second photo will provide winter food for birds and other animals.

I see that the ice is finally starting to form. I like your first sunset photo. It shows very nice colouring in the sky.
My son is participating in a photo challenge this year, where he has to take a picture a week with a certain theme. This week, he's supposed to take a selfie.

Quite the different selfie. He's really putting a lot of effort into the challenge.
Seems so.
He tried it in our kitchen first, but there's a window where a bit of light came in, which spoiled the effect he intended to get, so he used a different location yesterday.
