Well, spring is in bloom in Piedmont North Carolina and the yard is looking good again! Now I've posted some pics in the past in this thread (can't remember when?) but these are brand new ones from today - collection shows the azaleas in the front near the house, our pink & white hybrid dogwood tree in the front yard near the cul-de-sac, and a pic of the back driveway which is beginning to show a lot of color - and yes that's my grill (umbrella needs to be opened) from which I've posted in the eating thread. Quite beautiful after a cold and snowy winter for us. Dave

What's a little gold, anyway?

The root guy will drill a tiny access hole through the crown, and do the deed through a binocular microscope. He's so impressively skilled, my regular dentist quit doing root canals himself. I go in tomorrow.

When I try to post a photo here, the app/iPF often gives me a parse error the last few days. This one loaded without problems.

Again, a nice piccy Johanna. You seem to have lots of good photo opportunities where you live. I've sometimes had that same problem putting up a photo when using the forum app. It seems to come and go. The app needs looking at and if problems continue that is likely to happen, hopefully soon.

There are a few possibilities to take pictures around here.

I didn't try through the app only. I also tried website view, the website through Safari, different photo sizes, jpeg and png, but nothing worked. I wanted to post a different photo, which is better, imo. Too bad!

I remember that it was late last year as well. Is it worse than back then? What about the melting snow? Last year your city prepared for floodings.

The spring melt was late last year because of record snowfall that winter. There's no flooding anticipated this spring. Today's snow fell last night and could turn to rain later this afternoon.

So it's too cold for this time of the year? It's too warm here, and everything is too early. That's not better either.

What about the water level of the lake?
