Hi All - been away a few days doing some woodworking projects and spending a lot of time on the Woodnet.net Forums (same name & avatar there) - the projects are: 1) Rolling kitchen island - put together from a kit but adding some adjustable shelves inside the lower cabinet; and 2) Pedestal chalice stand for the Unitarian Fellowship - the building committee wants to re-do much of the pulpit area (first pic below w/ 2 new oak chairs in the back) - current one is particle board white-yellow and in poor shape - hope that my oak version will look much better (2nd pic) - will wax today and bring in early next week. Susan & I are away for a few nights in Charlotte @ the Ritz Hotel - just finished attending a Diana Krall concert at the Blumenthal Theater - part of her 2017-18 tour which will soon be going to Mexico and South America, but plenty of US dates left (take a look on her website, if interested) - she had 4 jazz musicians (bass, drums, guitar, & violin), all excellent w/ a LOT of solos - the video below is a snippet from a recent performance w/ these musicians - recommended if you are into Krall - mainly old standards.
