Currently watching the ending of the Sunday final round of the PGA golf tour at Harbour Town on Hilton Head Island - the iconic Par-4 18th hole can 'make or break' a tournament win (or loss!) - just some pics below - first an aerial view showing the tee area and ideal spot for an opening drive, i.e. to the left for the best approach to the green (danger all along the left side of the fairway) - last pics show the 2nd shot to the green - won today by Wesley Bryan, his first PGA win. Dave

There seems to be very little difference between the photos. In bright light the cameras are virtually equal. The Canon would shine in dim light, where it's much larger aperture lets in so much more light.

It was freezing last night. In order to protect the sprouts, vintners burnt bales of straw at night, which resulted in a "foggy" morning.

That was done not only here in Burgenland, but also in Lower Austria, Styria and Carinthia.

In the afternoon, and also the night afterwards, those bales were still burning

Over the weekend into Monday & Tuesday, we had severe rainfall in North Carolina (and other states of course) - 6" to 7" in the Raleigh area and 3"-4" in the Triad Area (weather map below showing total amounts) - our cable TV/internet was out all day Monday and intermittently on Tuesday - what a pain! Need to come up w/ a 'backup plan'.

But the second pic below just showed up on my FB page and had to chuckle, i.e. the 15th fairway of the Bermuda Run Golf Course - a number of holes run along the Yadkin River which overflowed its banks (see last two maps) - a LOT of flooding throughout the state. Dave
