You ever hear of Stewartsville Cem. Road thats the street I once lived on.

Hi Thomas - never explored Laurinburg that much, so not aware of the many streets there (and has been a LONG time) - usually just went straight to the radiology department, probably brought my lunch or ate in the cafeteria, then drove back to my off-base rental house near Ft. Bragg.

But near Laurinburg just across the South Carolina border is the small town of Cheraw, where Dizzy Gillespie was born in 1917 (quote below - Source); a couple of pics - composite of Diz photos & a statue and park dedicated in 2002 (I've not seen the statue). Dave :)

Jazz king John Birks “Dizzy” Gillespie was born in Cheraw in 1917. “Dizzy” was a founder of modern jazz, an innovative trumpeter known for his bent horn, bulging cheeks and sense of humor. Gillespie, who was famous around the world, almost always opened his performances with “I'm Dizzy Gillespie from Chee-raw, South Carolina.”

On the 85th anniversary of his birth, a seven-foot bronze statue of Gillespie playing his trademark bent horn was erected on the Cheraw Town Green. The Dizzy Gillespie Home Site Park also celebrates Cheraw's most famous son. The park features modern sculpture, eclectic stainless steel benches and a funky stainless steel fence.

Miami Beach, Florida - Susan & I are on a short vacation to the southern FL east coast this year - staying at the Ritz in South Beach w/ an oceanfront 10th floor room - view from the balcony yesterday - IF interested, I'm putting together a travelogue in the 'Travel Forum' - take a look and for Floridians & Miamians, please contribute - over the decades, I have been to the Miami area nearly a dozen times but am no expert, so any help would be greatly appreciated (now on page 1 only but this will likely go for 3-4+ more pages because I'll be mentioning past experiences and if others contribute, will try to respond, as needed) - thanks. Dave :)

You've got some beautiful scenery in Austria. It's certainly different from your local landscape around Apetlon. Where i live, I'd have to drive a whole day just to get to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta. You've managed to capture a wonderful sunset today.

Thank you!
I'm there within 3 hours. Convincing my mother to come with me, would be very difficult if Mariazell were a whole day away from Apetlon.
With a drive that lasts the whole day, I'd reach the other end of Austria. :)

Did a quick experiment with the new Clips and some early flowers.

Also, the first carrot of the year, or the last from 2016. A matter of perspective.
