I stand corrected. They are very similar. I must try this new magnifier out on my iPhone!
Thank you.
No problem. We called them elder bugs when I was a kid. I thought they were named after my grandpa, Eldred.![]()

I don't know if there's any connection but here's the artist's website. SculpturesReminds me of the artist R.C. Gorman (1931-2005) - just a print of his artwork below; Susan & I have collected art (mainly original prints) for decades, and I've always liked Gorman's prints but she was not as enthused, so we have none of his works, despite virtually all of the walls in our house filled w/ works of others; just curious if the artist of that sculpture was influenced by Gorman? Judith Christine Mills was born in Yorkshire, England and emigrated to Canada as a young child. Primarily self-taught, she began drawing and sculpting in her teens and in the early 1980's decided to pursue a fulltime career as an artist, participating in many group and solo exhibitions in Toronto, Halifax, Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal, Chicago, Baltimore, and Kennebunkport, Maine.
She was born in 1956.Thanks SciFan.. - I was able to zoom on your image and saw her name, Judith Christine Mills - born in England (cannot find the year on her website) - now a Canadian w/ a remarkable gift for variety - her imagery and that of Gorman's is quite similar - will explore her website more.
