Susan & I are on a Tennessee Mountain get-away for 4 nights - staying at the Christopher Place, a small 9-room B&B that also offers a prix fixe dinner - took a few pics yesterday - all rooms face the Smoky Mountains w/ beautiful views - great place for a small wedding - I'll repost in my Knoxville travelogue when we get back (was just a 3 1/2 drive). Me too. I also like the iPhone photo, because it looks like a painting, although it doesn't look as good as the one taken with my Canon, when you see both next to each other.

Susan & I just returned from our Tennessee Mountain trip - we stayed at Christopher Place - posted some pics earlier (and will repost in my Tennessee Thread when I get the pics organized) - but we dined at 7 PM for 4 nights, and then sat on the veranda while the sun set behind us - just a few more images of the Smoky Mountains in the day time, one w/ the sun going down - along w/ a 'combo' close-up of the clouds and mountains - obviously, best to just be there - Dave

I like the grapevines, both in colour and black and white. If that insect is a new student, he left it a bit late to register, right at the end of the school year. . Have the vines in your area bloomed yet. Grapevines here haven't bloomed yet. The flowers are still small green buds.

I like the grapevines, both in colour and black and white. If that insect is a new student, he left it a bit late to register, right at the end of the school year. . Have the vines in your area bloomed yet. Grapevines here haven't bloomed yet. The flowers are still small green buds.

That insect is in fact a bit late. Our school year will end this Friday.

I can't decide which one of the grapevine pictures is better. I like them both. I couldn't find blooms while riding my bike, and I didn't take a closer look when I took those pictures. Sorry! I'll make sure to look for blooms next time.
