Is it possible to put photos and apps into the iCloud app that came with my IPad 2? I don't even see them on the list that's provided for designations. I even purchased more space to be sure I have plenty, but nothing goes to the cloud. I am baffled, and running out of space.

iCloud isn't meant to be an online storage, like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, ....
It's mainly used for backup. You can see here what is backed up, and what uses your storage in iCloud: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4859?viewlocale=en_US

If you're running out of space on your iPad because of the pictures, you could use something like Dropbox (has an automatic upload function), SkyDrive, ... to store them there.

Thanks so much for your input. I finally get it. Did some reading, watched a video, Yada Yada...I am currently moving photos into Skydrive. Heh, and I thought all I'd be doing with the IPad was reading...sheesh. Thanks again.
