ICloud Backup Deletion?

I can get to a spot on the iPAD to 'manage iCloud', but cannot use it since it is 'greyed out'. So, can someone share their knowledge of how to delete the backups on my iCloud - it is full and now cannot use anything on it.

If you can't delete the backup from your iPad, try it on your computer.
