iBook crashing

I have problems with iBook which has just seemed to start recently. When using iBook after about 30 seconds to a minute it keeps crashing back to the iBooks menu app and I need to relaunch the application. Doesn't occur on my iPhone. I have rebooted the iPad but to no avail. Any ideas?

That is unfortunate.

If the reset didn't help (hold both Home and Sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo), try deleting the iBooks app and then re-download it.

Sometimes, things just happen and it's best to start over.

I have reset the ipad with no success, if I delete the ibook will i lose the books downloaded?

If they are from iBooks Store, you will be able to download them again.
