When I first got the iPhone 4S I didn't have a SIM card ready to go into it, but I found a way to bypass the SIM card activation and I could use the home screen as normal, except when I pressed the lock screen it would go back into activation mode again. So when I was in the home screen I downloaded an app, but then I guess I locked it and it went into activation mode again. The app is still on waiting now. I've tried resetting with the home and lock button, I've checked iTunes for any stuck apps, I reset the whole phone, I've tried to delete it through my computer but none of it's worked. Help! Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Well first off we do have a Sister Forum, the iPhone Forum if you would like to also join there.

Have you downloaded anything in the iTunes app which may still be pending? Have a look and see if there is and if so just swipe it to delete. This has been known to put App downloads into Waiting mode. Tap your app and see if it will download. Let us know if this is it.
