How to delete email addresses not wanted

Please help with deleting unwanted email addresses on iPad 1

If you are talking about the addresses that show up when you start typing in the "To" field - you can't. This is a "feature" of Apple's that has been associated with the Mail app on the iPad since it first came out. There is no way to delete those addresses, even if the person has moved on or you made a mistake in inputting the address.

Sorry to be of no good news. If its any comfort, you join the legions of people who hope that one day, Apple realizes that we really, really don't like this "help"...
