How to delete a private message?

K so I started getting messages under "private" yesterday. I cannot figure out how to delete them? On THIS program I mean....
Help

From Safari at ipadforums.net, if you display a PM there's a Delete button at the bottom.
If you're in InBox, with all the messages listed, then you can click the checkboxes of those PMs you want to delete.
Then select the drop down menu at the bottom of the page and one of the options is 'Delete Messages'

In the iPF app you can delete them with the usual swipe then delete button method. You have to be in the list view though, not reading the full message.
