My daughter has forgotten the restrictions pin on her son's iPad. Does anyone know of any relatively painless way to either recover or reset the pin? I did a web search, but the only methods I found were pretty complicated.
Thanks.

The only way to get rid of the Restrictions password is to restore the iPad and set it up as a new iPad as any recent backup would contain that forgotten Restrictions password. By syncing the iPad and transferring purchases before restoring it you can ensure that any important data is transferred to your computer. You'll also have to open the Photos app if on a Mac and transfer any photos not already in the app to your computer. There's also a way to transfer your photos on a Windows computer. You can follow the instructions in this link. Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
