How do I get the predictive text line back

When I started typing, there was a predictive text bar that ran just above the keyboard. Now it's no longer there. How can I get this back......thx

You can enable it when your keyboard is visible. Tap and hold the key next to the Numbers key at the left of your keyboard. It will appear here:

Slide the button to the right to enable it. Mine's disabled.
