I just joined becasue I can not find a solution to my mail problem. I have been a PC user forever but loved my Ipad until 2 weeks agao when this Cannot Verify Server identity message kept coming up. In teh PC world I would know how to deal with it. I can not find solutions in Apple mail. The Ipad keeps it very simple but when yiou have trouble I am lost on how to solve a problem . I appreciate any help and urther guideance for us people that are coming from a PC world

If you have not tried a soft reset, that may help.
When powering the iPad off then on doesn't solve weird problems, you should try a soft reset. Hold down the power and home key for about 10 seconds, or until the Apple logo appears. Let go and wait for it to reboot. This will take a few minutes, so be patient.
