Mail when your email address is hosted with your web site.

I have my own small web site which is hosted at backup Solutions. For teh last few weeks I get cannot verify Server messages when I try and send or recieve e-mail. I was wondering if people that host at other sites like Go Gaddy or Ipower are having this problem. I would appreciate knowing either way also if you are not having problems please let me know where you are hosting your web and e-mail
