What's new

Hi everyone!

Hi there! Can anyone out there listen to my tale of woe?? Yesterday bought my first ipad. I carefully unpacked it and switched it on...but then had to pop back to the shop, as it kept switching itself off. Nobody told me you had to slide screen to unlock. OK, it's simple when you know!
Left it untouched for rest of day as I was busy.
Today, I went to the Orange shop to buy sim card so I can access internet etc when I'm away from home...but now I'll have to pop back to shop tomorrow. It will not recognise the sim card. I have joined the forum in desperation!!
Shiny new ipad and no progress to note. All I have managed to do is....Choose language, Choose country, select my home hub, then I come to a halt.
I may be in my 60s but I'm usually quite good with 'ordinary' computers - however, this ipad is turning out to be quite a challenge!
PS I can bake a good Victoria Sandwich..no problem!! :) Should I stick to baking???

Hi Liz...sorry about your frustrations. Did you by chance complete the full set up out of the box? If you have not, that may be part of your problem. Let us know...and by the way, Victoria sandwiches sounds delish!
