I am from beautiful South Carolina (SC) and have had an IPad2 for about 2 years. I haven't had many problems but when IOS 7 came out, some minor odd things started to happen. Thought it would be good to hear what others think. Looking forward to meeting some of you. Happy New Year!Wendy

Hi, Wendy1! Welcome to iPF, and a happy new year to you!

My daughter has an iPad 2, updated to the latest software (7.0.4). She never had problems since the update. There were minor glitches at first, which could be removed with a reset (press and hold Home and Power button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, then release both and let the device power up - that's recommended after an update).

I know that there are other iPF members with iPad 2, latest software, so I hope you'll get a few other opinions as well.

Try the reset that JA has recommended.....this usually fixes most minor problems....let us know how you go!

Hi Wendy - welcome to the forum! I'm just north of you in Piedmont, NC, but we visit the coast (from VA to GA) often - Charleston & Kiawah Island is a trip we do every year to two; if fact, we have a condo rented on Kiawah for the end of March (3 days there & then 2 nights @ the Charleston Place) - always look forward to that 'little' vacation - Dave
