Help with router setup

Hello all, I am trying to set up a linksys e2500 for use with an ipad without a computer. I have connected the router to the modem and the ipad sees it but when I try to connect to the internet I get the "No wireless" detected error message. Are there some settings I need to set-up on the ipad? TIA!

Have you typed in your security network password before joining. Usually when joining a new network or wifi that the iPad is not familiar with, it will ask for you to enter your password.
