Help with quick time video on ipad2

I am trying to put a quick time format video that I made on my ipad2. I moved the video to itunes. I can see it as one of my movies but when I select it to be transferd to my ipad2 I get a msg saying the video did not transfer because it cant be played on this ipad. Can anyone help out please?

You need to use a third-party app, such as the free PC program Handbrake, to convert the video to a format that the iPad native Video app can play.

I bought a player off the app store so I dont have to convert my files, they work well for me. Take a look around the app store.

Conversion is simple and no extra purchases needed when using Quicktime on a Mac. Can someone verify if it does this on a Windows PC using Quicktime.
