What's new

Hello

Hi! I'm a brand new iPad 2 user, and new to apple in general. I love gadgets and trying to integrate them into a more efficient work stream. Of course many of you already know that really means that at times I work twice as hard to accomplish half as much. :). I found the site here while searching for great apps.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Thank you both for the welcome. I did download the manual and it has been quite helpful. I have already had several "oh, that's how you do that" moments. :)

Not sure where else to ask this incredibly newbie question... my only apple experience up until this point is an iPod classic. The software for it updates as it becomes available. When iOS5 is released later this year, will there be an upgrade cost?
