Hello New member here..looking for advice! What should I get... iPhone, iPad or both?

Hello, I am a newbie to this forum. Came here to ask some questions to all you iPad & iPhone users.

My company has asked me if I would like an iphone, ipad or both to use for my job. I manage a distance education school's internal student community (forums, memberships, posting content, blogs etc.) & external social networking sites. (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn, YouTube etc..)

I am a Mac user (iMac & MacBook Pro,used to have an iPhone 3g).

Wondering if the iPad or iPhone would be better for managing all my sites..or should I get both?

Also:

1. Can you skype/ use Google Hangouts on iPad/ iPhone?
2. Which has the better camera for recording video blogs?

Any advice would be very helpful! Thank you!!

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. You can download the manual for your iPad here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for both iOS 4 and 5.
