Hello i am new and struggling!,

Hi, i bought my first ever apple product a few days ago (an ipad2). It is the first apple product i have ever had my hands on and though i already love it and dont know how i lived without it, I am struggling with loads and loads of things! I am sure i will have many very basic questions to drive you all mad with so please be gentle with me!! Looking forward to getting to know you all

I will definitely work my way through those links thanks. To my shame, i have only just managed to find this forum again, the fact i did was because i was able to follow the link here from the ""notification of replies" email i received!

I am slowly getting better with it though and as i am unable to work currently due to health issues i have all the time in the world!

Sorry to hear about your health worries. Keep working on your iPad when you can and you will start to get the hang of it I think fairly quickly from what I glean from your post. Good to see you are using it to nut out some of its apparent problems because it very well may be a welcome distraction from your current health issues.

thanks OB, I'm getting better with it every day. I am typing this on my old Windows laptop and I definitely find it easier to type quickly on my ipad, that's the opposite of what I expected!
